Third-Party Lab Testing: Every Production Run, Tested Before It Ships

Yes, Frenchies vs Everybody products are third-party lab tested. Every production run of Frenchies vs Mushrooms and Frenchies vs Plaque & Tartar is sampled and tested by Food Safety Net Services (FSNS), an independent food safety laboratory in De Pere, Wisconsin, before product ships. The tests screen for Salmonella, E. coli, and coliform bacteria. The full lab reports are below, and you can download every one of them.

We know the jokes on our labels are fun. The testing is not a joke. Your gremlin eats this stuff every day, so here is the paperwork.

What do these tests check?

These are microbiological safety tests, the ones that catch the problems behind most pet product recalls. Salmonella and E. coli are the bacteria you never want anywhere near a food bowl, and the coliform count is a broader hygiene check on the whole production run. A passing report means an independent lab took samples from the actual batch and found none of them.

Reading the reports: "<10 CFU/g" means the count came back below the lab's detection threshold, which is the result you want. "Negative" for Salmonella means none detected in a 25 gram sample.

Note: our manufacturing partner's name and contact information are blacked out on the published reports to protect our supply chain. Everything else, including the lab's information, report numbers, and results, is untouched.

Who does the testing?

Food Safety Net Services (FSNS) in De Pere, Wisconsin. They are an independent laboratory. They do not make our products, they do not sell our products, and they have no stake in the results. Samples from each production run go to their lab, and the signed report comes back before anything ships to us.

Why publish the actual reports?

Because "vet approved" and "premium quality" are just words on a jar. Anyone can print words. A lab report has a number, a date, two signatures, and a phone number you can call. If you want your own vet to look these over before your Frenchie tries Frenchies vs Mushrooms or Frenchies vs Plaque & Tartar, please do. That is exactly what they are for.
