We built this formula with the nutrition team at our manufacturer, one Frenchie problem at a time. Here is what we put in, and the job each ingredient does.
🥩Real beef, first ingredient
A named meat leads the list, with 25% protein to keep that compact, muscular Frenchie build.
🐟Salmon oil, salmon meal, flaxseed
Omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids for healthy skin and a soft coat, the place most Frenchie problems show up first.
🦠Probiotic plus chicory root
Bacillus coagulans, a hardy probiotic, plus chicory root, a natural prebiotic fiber. Both are there for the tummy and the gas.
💨Yucca schidigera
A desert plant extract added to help reduce stool odor. Your backyard will thank you.
Made for Frenchies
🟤Small disc kibble
About 10 mm across and 5 mm thick, sized so a short snout can pick it up and crunch it.
⚖️Moderate fat plus L-carnitine
Frenchies put on pounds easily. Fat stays at a moderate 15%, and L-carnitine helps the body turn fat into energy.
🫐Blueberries, cranberries, carrots
Real fruit and veg, plus 400 IU/kg of vitamin E, an antioxidant we pushed for to back up skin and coat.

Why zero chicken?
When we asked the Frenchie parents in our community what they wanted in a food, the number one answer was simple: absolutely no chicken.
So many Frenchies already eat chicken free, and it is hard to find a kibble that does not sneak it in as chicken fat or flavor. Ours is cooked with beef fat, and we confirmed with our manufacturer that the natural flavor is chicken free too.

Frenchies vs Dog Food is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for All Life Stages, including the growth of large size dogs (70 lb or more as an adult). Omega-3 and omega-6 are not recognized as essential nutrients by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles.
